On a rainy night, Aya, a married woman, checks into a private lodging. Tatsuya, a businessman on a business trip, arrives only to find he has booked the same room—a surprising double booking. With the management company unreachable, two strangers are forced to spend the night under one roof. Through awkward small talk and convenience store meals, their shared loneliness slowly becomes apparent. Suddenly, a power outage occurs amidst thunder. Tatsuya rushes toward a scream and finds himself facing a naked Aya in the steamy bath. As they talk, he learns of her loneliness, as her husband is overseas. Late at night, when Aya finds Tatsuya masturbating while thinking of her, the distance between them finally collapses—"Were you thinking of me?". Although it was supposed to be for one night only, they seek each other again and again, and with each time, their hearts grow closer.
