Tomoya married into his wife Maki's hometown. Despite the unfamiliar environment, he decides to participate in the local fight festival for her sake. On the day of the event, Maki is fired up, while Tomoya is reluctant. Because Maki is so enthusiastic, he reluctantly helps carry the portable shrine, but the difference in their attitudes and passion leads to a real fight with the village youth. Tomoya ends up getting beaten black and blue by a man named Hosoda. Maki comes to visit Tomoya while he is resting in the first-aid room. Hosoda, his fight opponent, also arrives, but this time Hosoda and Maki get into an argument, and an excited Hosoda attacks her...
