The Koda couple runs "Snack Riri" in the local drinking district. The wife works as the bar's mama, while the husband handles the kitchen and dishwashing. Amidst the recent rise in prices, the couple has been struggling to manage the shop by making ends meet. One day, the girls from town who help out as hostesses ask Riri, "Mama, if it's okay, we'd like you to raise our hourly wage." Riri desperately wants to grant the wishes of the girls who are working so hard, but the shop's finances simply don't allow for it...
