Haruka Kitagawa, a happy housewife, feels something is off about the changing attitude of her husband, Shoki, who is successfully climbing the corporate ladder. One night, her peaceful daily life begins to crumble upon meeting his boss, Mikuni, who arrives while supporting his drunken husband. Mikuni, possessing both loneliness and power, approaches Haruka with the word "protect," drawing her into a whirlpool of deep conflict while she resists.
