Meanwhile, Toyama, who had been close to her son during his student days, harbored feelings for Iroha, his friend's mother. Even as job hunting kept them apart, those feelings didn't fade; instead, they twisted into a distorted obsession. Finally, Toyama visited Iroha, determined to make her his own.
