Charge Mermaid refuses and tries to leave, but Brugge grabs her hand, saying, "Why do you not rejoice? There could be no greater honor." "Let go!" she cries, shaking off his hand and sending Brugge tumbling backward. Watching her depart with a bitter expression, Brugge mutters, "I have never experienced such rudeness! I will make you my wife, no matter what it takes." Later, Brugge's subordinate, a space monster, attacks Charge Mermaid while she is on a solo mission. Despite her brave fight, the enemy's attack forces her to detransform and destroys her transformation bracelet. Charge Mermaid is in a desperate pinch! Just then, her comrades appear to rescue her.
