I've lived a decent life, if I do say so myself. I've maintained my career as a full-time employee and now manage several juniors. I got married two years ago, and our married life is harmonious. It's about time we started thinking about having children. I've lived seriously, trying not to betray anyone or make them sad. Today, I unexpectedly ended up sharing a room with a subordinate, but I reported it to my wife and planned for everything to end without incident. But deep down, perhaps I harbored feelings of inferiority or dissatisfaction with the "serious" persona I was playing... Looking at the "pure" Kawakita staring at me with those round eyes, that thought crossed my mind. Maybe my time to do something "forbidden" has finally come.
