At the end of 2025, as I had grown accustomed to life in Tokyo and was losing my sense of the seasons, I received a message from Mitsuri, my high school girlfriend, for the first time in five years. There was no clear reason for our breakup; time and distance had simply drifted us apart. Yet, in my heart, the sediment of "first love" remained, leaving me feeling guilty toward my current partner.
We agreed to meet in Yokohama. In that place, which felt too far away for us back then, the gears that had stopped turning began to move again. With a mix of anticipation and anxiety, I awaited the day of our meeting, feeling a premonition that I could never return to who I was before.
My heart raced... Mitsuri, whom I saw again after five years, still had that same innocent smile, but she had grown into a beautiful woman. Routine... sexless... frustrated... we both had partners, but neither of us was happy. We drank alcohol, which we couldn't handle back then, and laughed a lot.
Eventually, our reason wavered... as if reclaiming the memories of those days... we sought each other out repeatedly until morning. A two-day, one-night double-affair date between two people with perfect sexual chemistry.
