Kenji was born as the second of three brothers. To his mother, Miyabi, he always seemed like a low-maintenance child... However, one spring, his life changed abruptly: his older brother got a job and moved out, his younger brother entered a boarding school, and his father was transferred for work. Suddenly, Kenji and Miyabi were living alone together. The once lively house became eerily quiet, leaving Miyabi feeling a deep sense of loss... Seeing his mother like this, Kenji felt a mix of frustration and emptiness, feeling that she only ever worried about his brothers. Driven by this, he decided to monopolize his mother's affection for himself...
