Miku, a daughter, suddenly appears before Kakei, a cynical middle-aged man. He begins a hopeless cohabitation with her, the daughter he had with an ex-wife. To this rough middle-aged man, the sudden appearance of his daughter was nothing more than a means to bring in money for his monthly horse racing bets. While these rough days continue, Okabe, a debt collector, comes to visit for payment. Suspicious of Kakei, who lives with a young woman, Okabe is met with a surprising proposal from Kakei: "...Okabe-san, how about using her body for this month's payment?"
