Mitsuha, a talent and former popular model, participates in a hot spring location shoot for a travel program to expand her television career. The producer in charge is Sagawa, a tyrannical man with an outdated Showa-era mindset. Mitsuha absolutely hates him. Meanwhile, Mitsuha is secretly dating her young manager—a hidden relationship known to only a few within the company. However, Sagawa has begun to suspect something from the subtle distance between them.
Upon arriving at the inn on the day of the shoot, Mitsuha is shocked to find she has been assigned to share a room with Sagawa. Before she can protest, her manager is overwhelmed by the oppressive atmosphere of the set. Despite her anxiety, she tries to deceive herself, thinking, "Surely nothing will happen."
That night, Sagawa corners Mitsuha. "You two are dating, aren't you?" Though he shouldn't have proof, his words hit the mark. If this secret is exposed, her position in the industry will be in jeopardy... Unable to resist, Mitsuha is embraced by the man she hates, and gradually, a masochistic side she never knew she had begins to emerge...
