My attempts to conceive were failing, and sex had become a mere obligation for making a baby. Feeling empty in my marriage, I started my night shift and took charge of an unconscious male patient who had been rushed to the hospital. A few days later, as he showed signs of recovery, he suddenly pinned me down with brute force, and I was raped despite my futile resistance. Time passed heartlessly while I kept the secret, trying my best to forget. But then, a change occurred in my body. I had conceived the child of the man who raped me.
